Robert Morton

Rob started his career in the construction industry 24 years ago as an apprentice carpenter and quickly realised that working with his hands was something he loved. It was there that his passion for construction, design and wood grew.

He received his Builders Licence at the age of 24, and this initiated the long standing partnership with his brother Ant and the birth of Element Five.

Rob’s inspiration for starting the company was and still is today, the incredible partnership with his brother. Together they work as a team; pushing each other, allowing the company to grow and surrounding themselves with great people with a parallel vision.

The Element Five Brand was inspired by Rob and Ant’s common belief for freedom of association, this belief is part of their family culture and most importantly today, has brought Rob closer to fellow work mates who form the Element Five team.

The people who make up the company and their shared passion to work as a team is what inspires Rob to come to work each day. His proudest moment is of recent, having a company strong enough, with the ability to support others in times of need. He is also particularly proud of the incredible growth and quality of achievements within the company.

Rob finishes off with a phase which rings true to himself and the company,

“You learn something new every day!”

Anthony Morton

Ant’s approach to work is simple. Hard. Smart. Intuitive.

Driven by a passion for beautiful design and a desire to work collaboratively with architects, Ant started Element Five with brother Rob as a way to guarantee they would always build what they loved.

As Element Five’s reputation elevated, Ant saw an opportunity to diversify and expand into multi density builds. Adopting the name Element Five, ensured a clear distinction between the diverse product offerings of the two companies.

Ant’s proudest moments are when he hears people say Element Five is their first choice in builder, knowing his commitment to delivering the best has resulted in a company renowned for remarkable projects.

Thriving on the busy team atmosphere and a hunger for success, Ant’s focus is always on the evolution of his company – “To enable us to build better, it’s important we’re constantly developing all aspects of our work, and are always ahead of the game.”
